Advertising Disclosure
Last updated: April 29, 2026
This page explains how Kylovia earns money, how that money flows through the site, and what we do to keep editorial decisions independent of advertisers and partners.
1. Display advertising — Google AdSense
Kylovia displays advertising provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and device identifiers to deliver and measure ads, both on this site and across the web. Ads on Kylovia are visually labelled as "Advertisement" and clearly separated from editorial content.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
- You can also refuse the "Personalised ads" cookie category in our cookie banner. We then load only contextual (non-personalised) ads, where Google policy allows it.
2. Affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, Kylovia may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
- Affiliate relationships do not change our editorial recommendations.
- We only join affiliate programmes for products and services we would already recommend on their merits.
- Where applicable, an article carries an in-context disclosure at the top so you know before you click.
Active affiliate partners as of the date above include, but are not limited to: Amazon Associates, Booking.com, Skyscanner, Awin, ShareASale and direct partner programmes.
3. Sponsored content
If we ever publish content that has been paid for by a brand (sponsored articles, paid reviews, brand collaborations), the article carries a clear "Sponsored" or "In partnership with" label at the very top. The number of sponsored pieces is intentionally kept low.
4. Editorial independence
Advertisers do not get to read or approve articles before publication. Affiliate relationships do not influence rankings within a list — we lead with the option that is genuinely best for most readers, even when its commission is lower or zero.
If an article is updated because of an advertiser request, we add a transparent "Updated on …" line and explain what changed.
5. How to flag a concern
If you believe an article reads like a paid placement and isn't labelled, or that an affiliate link is misleading, please email hello@kylovia.com. We review every report.
6. Why this matters
Display ads and affiliate revenue keep Kylovia free for readers. Telling you exactly how that works is part of what we owe you in exchange. We update this page whenever a partnership materially changes.
